As we see, one by one, Marvel Studios is bringing all earlier Marvel projects or other Marvel properties merging into MCU.
It all started from Daredevil’s character getting a cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home, appearing as Matt Murdock played by Charlie Cox.
And the idea that Daredevil coming to MCU further cemented when Vincent D’Onfario’s character Wilson Fisk, a version of Kingpin, has a strong role in Disney+ Hawkeye series.
And only sometime ago, in May 2022, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was released where a few more significant characters of Marvel properties showed up, making their debut in MCU.
These Marvel characters are from another world but not produced by Marvel Studios such as Patrict Stewart, known as Professional Charles Xavier from X-Men franchise and Inhuman King Black Bolt from Inhuman series by ABC.
Now since, more and more other Marvel properties are coming into MCU, there is hope for Daredevil companion shows or also called to be spin-offs like Iron Fist, Luke Cage, The Punisher and Jessica Jones.
In fact, there is already a rumor about The Punisher aka Frank Castle going to show up in Daredevil series.
So with the stage already set for more and more upcoming introductions in MCU, Iron Fist actor Finn Jones also hopes to be part of MCU.
He talked with Comicbook.com about how he would love to return to K’un-Lun and become the protector of the Immortal city again.
Here’s what the actor talked about his his wish to return in MCU:
“I would love to continue playing that character. I think there’s a lot of room for growth. Personally, where I would like to see the reintroduction of the character would be something like a Heroes for Hire TV series, ” I think that would be the most dynamic and fun way to reintroduce those characters. I loved working with Mike and I loved the on-screen chemistry between Danny and Luke. I think it’s a really interesting creative place that show can be taken in. I’d love to pick up that mantle again and keep moving this character forward and make the best possible Iron Fist there could be.”
Just so you know, the heroes for hire mentioned by Finn are a group of characters in the Marvel comics who sell their abilities to help people.
It is a business model where they exchange their superhero abilities to sustain themselves, and they do it as a group.
Danny Rand aka Iron First and Luke Cage are known to be the leaders of this group from time to time.
Throughout the years in comics, there have been multiple variations of this Heroes of Hire Team including superheroes like She Hulk, Human Torch, Misty Knight, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Colleen Wing and The Punisher as well.
Also, the fact that Luke Cage and Iron Fist have more comic appearances together rather than having a solo comic series, Heroes For Hire is a great option for Marvel Studios to bring them into MCU.
This is even better because Luke Cage, Iron First or perhaps other few superheroes might not go very well on a solo series or movie, or not atleast as an introduction, so bringing them together will be an attractive option.
