15 Best Movies of 2007 | Must Watch for You

A historical epic ‘Zodiac’ about the elusive serial killer in the Bay Area in the 1960s and 1970s, when free love gave way to bloody cynicism, is multiple movies combined into one.

Another almost fantastic year for movies occurred in 2007. While ‘Juno’ is not a Best Picture contender, the trailers for “There Will Be Blood” were very promising.

Of course, the venerable ‘No Country For Old Men’ would take first place, leaving film blog posts and critics of all stripes mostly pleased. In hindsight, an outstanding Hollywood year that showed the last fading of the preference for and propensity to honor educational films.

The movie focuses on the lives and professions of the detectives and newspaper employees and is based on Robert Graysmith’s book.

It can be pretty ominous and unsettling, but it’s subtle; nothing is forced or overdone. Ruffalo and Downey are superb actors, and a young, fresh-faced

The primary characters in the movie are delicately balanced as each one gradually contributes to the plot in an almost unforeseen cadence.

The most vital characterization moments in Zodiac come from the brilliant interplay between our leads, albeit each performer does well in their respective scenes.

Probably the best movie Joel and Ethan Coen have ever produced, and they made “Fargo.” Although it has elements of a thriller and a chase, it is primarily a character study that looks at how its characters interact with a man who is so terrible, ruthless, and heartless that there is simply no way to stop him.
