However, this slot was originally reserved for Mission Impossible 8, but now we are getting the seventh and eighth installments in 2023 and 2024, respectively, due to the COVID delay.

Tom Cruise, who has been playing Ethan Hunt for 27 years now, is going to reprise his role. 

He will be seen along with familiar faces of the franchises, such as Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Ving Rhames, and Henry Czerny, with Esai Morales coming back to play the main villain.

Maybe it happened for the good as now we are getting a solo movie on this character where the movie will be directed by J.C Chandor, who is known for making films like Triple Frontier, and All Is Lost

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who earlier played Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron, is going to play the title role along with Ariana DeBose.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania

 Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, a post-endgame Ant-man movie, is one of the highly anticipated movies for many reasons. 

One of the prominent ones is the debut of the ultimate supervillain of this MCU Phase – Kang the Conqueror played by Jonathan Majors who already played a version of Kang named ‘He Who Remains’  in the Disney+ series Loki. 

It is also a special film because it will kick off the fifth phase of MCU, opening on Feb 17, 2023. 

So far,the plot of the film revealed to be the continuation of the adventures of Ant-Man ( Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) with Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) exploring the Quantum Realm. 

Also, since Marvel recast Scott Lang’s daughter’s character Cassie Lang with Kathryn Newton as Stature or Stinger.

Apart from Kang, another supervillain is going to make a debut in the MCU is MODOK, a big-headed cybernetic villain known in Marvel comics. 

And that’s not all; Bill Murray is also in the movie,’s cast yet to know which character he plays. 

This is going to be a game-changer movie in the marvel cinematic universe as entering into a new phase altogether.

Michael B. Jordan is going to make his directorial debut with this film. This movie is going to be the third installment of the Rocky spin-off franchise Creed.

The plot is yet to be revealed, but apparently, his character will be challenged by a character Anderson Dame played by Jonathan Majors. 

There are other cast members such as Tessa Thompson, Florian Munteanu, Phylicia Rashad, and Wood Harris reprising their roles.

Another dark fantasy from the renowned director Guillermo del Toro, but this, along with Mark Gustafson, this time gives a twist to an old tale of Pinocchio. 

The film is going to be a darker version of Pinocchio’s story about this wooden pullet who gets transformed into a real-life living boy. 

The Academy Award-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, also the writer for the film, is basically reinventing the old classic tale originally by Carlo Collodi. 

This animation film was earlier announced to be canceled in 2017. However, Netflix brought up the director del Toro to direct the stop-motion animated adaptation of Pinocchio. 

The voice cast for the film is Gregory Mann, Evan McGregor, Ron Perlman, Finn Wolfhard, and more.

Courteney Cox will be coming back from the Original as well as the last movie Scream 5 as well along with other cast such as Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Mason Gooding, and more.

Only when she was going to retire from her career, even before it starts, as she approached by a needy matchstick girl offering her first official work to find her missing sister. 

And so as they say, “ the game is ..ON”.  Enola Holmes 2 was announced on August 2022 with its release date on Netflix, i.e. on November 4, 2022.

Other cast members who will appear in the film will be David Thewlis, Helena Bonham Carter, Louis Partridge, Hannah Dodd, Adeel Akhtar, Susan Wokoma, and more.

There is not much on this film apart from the fact that Chris Meledandri produces it from Illumination,  known for making Despicable Me. 

Another product is the Marios’ creator himself, Shigeru Miyamoto. This will certainly be a heavily CGI movie with much true adaptation of the original iconic game character and its storyline. 

We certainly do know the cast of this film. Chris Pratt will voice the Mario character, whereas Anya Taylor-Joy will be playing Princess Peach, and Seth Rogen will give his voice to Donkey Kong. 

Charlie Day and Jack Black will be playing Bowser and Luigi, respectively.

First of all, there are two things to address with this film coming, one, is that for the first time ever, apart from Steven Speilberg, is going to direct an Indiana Jones film. 

And second, we are getting an Indiana Jones franchise film after such a long time, also a long-awaited follow-up film to the 2008 released Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

As we know in that 2008 film, the cast will be reprising their roles, including cast members such as Harrison Ford, Mads Mikkelson, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Antonio Banderas, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Boyd Holbrook, and Toby Jones. 

The plot of the film is yet to be unknown. All we know, the story might pick by after a time delay from what happened in the 2008 film.

It is going to be produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and directed by Jeff Rowe, who was co-director of the Netflix animation film The Mitchels vs. the Machines

Interestingly, this film will be the launching ground, a pilot in the franchise of TMNT, going to adventure against their greatest foes. 

The voice cast for this animated feature isn’t revealed yet.

We also have the introduction of Monica Rambeau in the Disney+ Series Wanda Vision. Ms. Marvel post-credit scene hints at The Marvels plot where they get switched to each other’s places. 

It will also mark the big-screen debut of Iman Vellain’s Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and the same for Monica Rambeau’s character.

Shameik Moore will come back to voice Miles Morales, whereas Hailee Steinfeld will lend her voice again to Gwen Stacy and Oscar Isaac to Miguel O’Hara. 

It is also known that Jessica Drew, aka Spider-Woman, will also be in the film and is going to be voiced by Issa Rae.

There is no buzz around about what is going to be the plot of this film. The only thing assured is that it will be even more epic and high-octave action. 

They certainly have the expectation to round this long-living franchise to end with all its glory.

One of the most anticipated movies of all time is Fantastic Four in the MCU. 

Marvel announced in December 2020 that Jon Watts, the director of Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, will direct the reboot of Fantastic Four. 

This film will introduce the Fantastic Four characters into the MCU that we know, where we already got a good look at John Krasinski playing Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic in Doctor Stranger in the Multiverse of Madness. 

However, it is not clear whether he or someone else will be playing the Earth 616 version of Reed Richards. 

But recently, in April 2022, Jon Watts stepped down as the movie’s director. And since then, we are not getting many updates for the film. However, the release dates of the film is fixed as Marvel tends to schedule their movies for years to come. 

The film will hit the theatres in 2024, whereas the filming is expected to begin in 2023 itself.

The plot of this prequel is based on a young character named Coriolanus Snow participating in the Hunger games happening before the events of what we have seen in the original series.

DCEU’s upcoming The Flash will be a multiverse sort of film because we already know that Michael Keaton is in the film as Batman.  

We also know that the film will have different versions of Flash played by controversial personality Ezra Miller. 

Since the film is getting delayed and there is too much going on with the whole Ezra Miller fiasco, we are yet to know the film’s fate and whether Ezra Miller stays as Barry Allen in DCEU or not. 

According to rumors, the plot of the film will be borrowed from the ‘Flashpoint’ storyline in the comics, where Barry Allen travels back in time to save her mother but ends up changing the world dramatically, causing the catastrophe.

Again, they are taking back the audience in the mid-90s as a story of a few archaeologists finding themselves in the three-way conflict between various groups or factions of Transformers. 

The storyline for this film, titled Transformers: Rise of the Beast, will be going to be loosely based on the Beast Wars storyline. 

Peter Cullen will reprise his role for Optimus Prime’s voice and other cast members such as Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, and Ron Perlman.

It is a horror-thriller film based on Stephen King’s famous novel of the same title, where the screenplay is written by Gary Dauberman, who is also the director of the film.

There is no more information on the film’s plot, but we can be sure that John Wick is at war with almost everyone in the movie. 

Recently, it has been revealed by the director Stahelski that there could be a chance that the ending of the fourth installment won’t be happy for the protagonist. 

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron

So far, the announcement has been made that Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins will direct this Star Wars sequel. 

The Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is going to be about some starfighter pilots from the Star Wars universe named Rogue Squadron. 

Around mid-2021, director Jenkins shared the update that the script was almost completed. However, the same year, reports came that production had been delayed due to some schedule issues of the director. 

Even though the release date of the film is still the same, in 2023, we can hope that the film do hit the theatres on its intended release date.

Apart from that, there is speculation that star casts such as Fin Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, McKenna Grace, and Paul Rudd will be returning for the film. 

Also, there might be some original Ghostbusters; the OGs might come as cameos or even full-fledged roles as well. 

We truly know that this sequel will be set in New York and the firehouse shown in the original films as was teased at the very end of Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.3

The plot details for this third installment are not yet revealed, but James Gun talked about how this one will serve as an ‘epic conclusion’ on what he started in the 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Some exclusive footage teased at the Comic-Con 2022 shows that the film will end the current team of GOTG. 

With Thor: Love And Thunder’s release, fans learned about what’s been going on with Guardians after the events of Avengers: Endgame

We won’t spoil it here for you, but there have been seeds sown already in Thor: Love and Thunder for the third installment of GOTG, which perhaps will become a preface for the plot. 

The third installment will be like this ultimate reunion where Star-Lord finally will meet Gamora as she went away after the Endgame battle. 

There also might be the backstory of Rocket which has been teased in different ways so far.  

We also finally get to know whether Will Poulter is playing the Adam Warlock as it was teased at the end of Vol 2 or not. 

The director James Gunn and Chris Pratt showed that this film will be heavy in the story and much more emotional. 

Chris Pratt called the film to be a masterpiece, and Karen Gill shared her script reading experience to be in ‘full tears.’ 

Well, it kind of hints at whether some or a few of the Guardians will die in this film. Let’s hope not!

Avengers: Secret Wars

Avengers: Secret Wars will be part two of the Avengers saga for the finale in Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

And, we know even less about this film than what we know about Avengers: The Kang Dynasty

This film is more likely to involve Fantastic Four and its villain, as expected, Doctor Doom, as they will be earlier introduced with the Fantastic Four movie in phase six. 

Only we can expect this film to wrap up all the superheroes we are currently looking at and others that will get introduced if they don’t die.

The director, cast, plot, and almost every detail of the film are currently under wraps and for good and obvious reasons.
