In admist of everything going on with Warner Bros, Pretty Little Liars spin-off show title Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin has been renewed for season 2 on HBO Max.
This spin-off show will be teen-drama thriller, a follow-up to the original series that was quite successful with its span of seven seasons streaming on Freeform.
Pretty Little Liars was also a teen-drama mystery thriller TV series developed by I. Marlene King, that is loosely based on a successful novel series based on the same name penned by Sara Sephard.
The story is about these five best friends who started falling apart after their leader Allison. But after they came together a year later, they started getting these mysterious messages with a little “A” threatening them to expose their deepest darkest secrets.
The series features an ensemble cast of Trioian Bellisario as Spencer Hastings, Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery, Sasha Pieterse as Alison, Shay Mitchell as Emily Fields, Janel Parrish as Mona Vanderwaal and Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin.
It was also developed by I. Marlene King who is behind this PLL Spin-off as well.
The spin-off series features a new cast altogether, another set of teenage girlfriends caught themselves in a sinister conspiracy or mystery going on in the town of Millwood, PA.
PLL: Original Sin is focusing more on the dark and teen slasher elements og the story which was not in the case of its predecessor.
