Doctor Strange 2 Suppose To Have A Reed Richards Post-Credit Scene?  Writer Michel Waldron Revealed

Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness writer Michale Waldron recently revealed that he always wanted to get Reed Richards in the movie, even way before the idea of the Illuminati came on board.

He shared his fascination with making a Reed Richards appearance in the film from very early on when there was no major conception about how cameos would embed in the movie.

It is undying that perhaps the movie’s most jaw-dropping and satisfying cameo was seeing Reed Richards, a Fantastic Four character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Not just appeasing a section of fandom who is dying to see Fantastic Four in MCU but also Fantastic Four fans were happy to see this cameo.

In his recent interview with Empire, the writer talks about his obsession to put Reed Richards anywhere in the film where it was initially planned to appear in a post-credit scene.

He chuckles when asked about the movie’s most exciting cameo Reed Richards. “That’s the big one, right?”

The writer further shared how writing Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, for the screen was a dream for him.

He shared, “I always wanted Reed Richards in this thing,” He was excited to write Mr. Fantastic so much that he first decided to write a post-credit scene featuring Reed Richards, all of it way before the Illuminate sequence came to the table, just to satisfy his curiosity.

Michael further shared the details of his first draft post-credit scene, which he was initially going to add “In my very first draft, I wrote a tag just for the hell of it, of the events of the movie being recorded and reviewed by somebody in the Baxter Building, and a stretchy hand coming into frame to run it back.”

Waldron is a producer and writer known for his works like Loki, Rick and Morty, and this movie, Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness.

He adds, “Reed is probably my favorite Marvel comics character, so I was always gunning to get him in here somewhere.”

After the film’s release, Waldron also finally responded to the biggest question of whether Scarlette Witch is gone for good or will return.

He hinted, saying, “She’s removing herself from the board… For now? Forever? We’ll see. I’d like to see her again…”
