Marvel Studios’ recent theatrical release, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will be premiering on Disney Plus streaming services on Disney Plus Day, September 8th.
Even though the film received mixed reviews from critics, the movie has done quite well at the box office.
The worldwide box-office collection of the movie Thor: Love and Thunder were around $738 Million, with a domestic collection of around $369 Million, making it the sixth-highest-grossing film of this year so far.
Top Gun: Maverick is the highest grossing movie of this year, and in fact, of all time with a whopping $1.4 Billion worldwide box-office collection, followed by other movies like Jurrasic World Dominion, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Minions: The Rise of Gru and The Batman in this particular order.
This fourth installment in the Thor movie is finally going to be streaming for the audience to watch on the ‘Disney plus day’ with a few other notable releases as well.
Disney+ announced releasing various shorts, TV episodes, and behind-the-scenes features as well.
One of the best additions apart from Thor: Love and Thunder have to be the live-action adaptation of the tale Pinocchio featuring Tom Hanks and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, directed by Robert Zemeckis, the genius behind movies like Forrest Gump, The Polar Express, and Back to the Future.
This is certainly exciting to get some back from the legendary filmmaker after a long time with such a great cast.
As for the Thor 4 release, it seems that Disney made it a tradition to release a Marvel Theatrical release film on the Disney+ Streaming platform every year.
Last year, it was Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and this year is Thor: Love and Thunder.
Since the Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels, is getting its theatrical release on July 28, 2023, it is more than likely that this will be next year’s Disney+ streaming release.
Not to miss the She-Hulk’s fourth episode, which also going to steam on the Disney Plus Day.
