Jackie is such a character who has so much self-doubt and fear that he has stopped talking. His parents have three doctors who examine Jackie, but they have told his parents that there is rarely any hope that Jackie will talk again.

After returning to his room, Jackie sits until Puff comes to the window and starts a conversation with him. 

Their conversation is about inner peace and happiness. Puff pulls a long sheet of paper out of a magic bag and encourages Jackie that he can do anything.
